General Council Information & Meeting Schedule

Members of the Project Sussex Kids General Council will meet regularly to establish goals, offer guidance, and assess the progress of the organization. Meetings will take place at 9:00 a.m. and at 6:00 p.m. on the following dates; members are invited to attend the meeting which best suits their individual schedule.

Meetings will take place at Project Self-Sufficiency, 127 Mill Street, in Newton.

We are searching for parents, caregivers, and representatives from community agencies who are interested in helping to identify, and discuss the issues that impact the health, education and well-being of Sussex County children.

Sub-Committee Information & Meeting Schedule

Project Sussex Kids sub-committees are formed around subject areas based on children's ages. Parents and interested community members are invited to come together to discuss the needs of each group and assess the resources available in the community. Upcoming meetings include:

  • School-Aged Children Education Committee, June 13, September 12, November 14, 2017, 9:30 a.m.;
  • Prenatal and Infants, Toddlers and Preschool-Aged Children Commitee, June 13, September 12, November 14, 2017, 2:00 p.m.;
  • Families of Children with Special Needs Health Committee, June 12, September 13, November 15, 2017, 1:00 p.m.;
  • Spanish-Speaking Families Commitee, June 12, September 13, November 15, 2017, 10:00 a.m.
